I'm told I can build a survey in here and pay people to take it but now that I have an account and am on the console, I have no earthly idea how to start. Are there instructions for doing this hidden somewhere??

Hi I am Supporting Questions in the Community, I answered 30+ Questions but I do not find some missing features, 1. When I answer Question, If the Questioner comments or asks something or someone answers the same questions, I am not getting an Email notification but only if the questioner accepts the Answer - IS this the right behavior of the repost, or does you have to do something on it? 2. From FAQ I found that AWS Expert will review your answer to get more points --> but what would be the timeline for the AWS Expert to review it? 3. IF I answer a question and the Owner of the question is not able to respond so what happens? AWS Team will review it? what would be the expected timelines for this review it? 4. Attachments are missing here --> Do you have any roadmap for this ? 5. For Example i have logged in from **ABC** AWS account created profile and answered some questions got badges etc later if i am logged in as **XYZ** account now whats happing re:post recognize as a new user but with the same Email lost all history -- Is this the correct behavior or you need work on this? Hello all, Thank you for providing feedback about e-mail notifications. We heard you and have implemented an enhancement that allows you to choose the frequency of emails from re:Post. For each type of notification, you can select to receive emails immediately, daily, or weekly; and choose the day and time of day you want to receive your re:Post email digests. The default selection is set to Daily Digests. If you want different frequency, you can change the settings. The benefit to you is that you have the flexibility to decide what notifications and how often you want to receive them. It can reduce the number of emails from re:Post. To make the changes to your notifications do the following: 1. Login and click link [Notification Settings](https://repost.aws/dashboard/settings/notifications) 2. For each type of notification click the pull down menu and change it to your desired frequency (default is Daily Digest) 3. I want to report an extremely bad experience giving the AWS Solution Architect Associate (SAA-C02) exam on 01/22/2022. Apologies if this is not the right place to post this experience as I did not find any other forum to post exam-related experiences. I appeared for AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (CONFIRMATION NUMBER: G81923108) on 01/22/2022. I was able to start the exam after 30 minutes of struggle in getting the PSI software loaded and working. I followed all the guidelines and requirements of the proctor and gave my full 130-minute attention to the exam. After completing the exam, I submitted the exam for the result and was very happy to see the screen "Grade: PASS. Congratulation! You have successfully passed the AWS Certified Solutions Architect .... Within 5 business days, you will receive an email stating your exam result ......" After that, I thought that the exam is now over, as I sat for another 30 seconds and did not see any notification from Proctor or any other dialog on the PASS result screen. I took the photo of the screen from my mobile to keep it for my records so that I don't lose my result and have proof. Right then I saw a screen stating your exam is terminated due to a violation of taking photos and within 10 seconds screen closed. I called PSI and explained the matter that I completed the exam and saw the result on the screen as "PASS". Only after that, I take the picture. They opened a ticket but says you need to contact AWS for resolution. This is a very frustrating situation as after 9 days, today 02/01, and I gave exam on 01/22, there is no update on the AWS certification page and also no update on the PSI website related to the result. It's not acceptable for AWS/PSI to make candidates suffer and lose belief in the certification process.

re:Post introduced friction to posting a question by throwing up a pop-up with very bad suggested answers to the question the customer is trying to post. Why are the suggested answers SO BAD anf NOT EVEN CLOSE to the question already entered? Is this craptactic new tool really trying to drive customers away? If so it's working!!!

Why does re:Post require it's own separate sign-in when I'm already signed into my AWS account? Why can I just switch to it as another service once I'm already logged into the AWS console. This is a terrible FTUE and an unnecessary step that will only drive customers away from this craptastic new site.

Where do CDK questions go? Dug for quite awhile and on more than one occasion. Landed on AWS Cloudformation and maybe Developer Tools. Golly, I ***just*** found DevOps and CDK questions in there as well. What do you advise / recommend?

I had a technical issue during my AWS Certified Developer - Associate exam on 27th December 2021. The exam was interrupted. I got an email from AWS today that I of course failed the exam (since I only got halfway through before the technical issue on Pearson Vue's end happened), and that I can reattempt the exam in 14 days. I have a deadline to complete my certification by 31/12/2021 and I want my exam to be rescheduled within the time. Thank You

I created my AWS re:Post login using my root account, but now I'm using another account. So whenever I need to log into re:Post it creates a new user id and I want to use the same one I've used in the past. Do I need to log into my root account on AWS before logging into re:Post every time I want to access re:Post? I only want one re:Post login but I need more than one AWS account login. I wish there was a way to associate more than one AWS login with one re:Post login.

How do I subscribe to the RSS feed of a tag?

I knew the re:Post topics were too broad, but tried subscribing to a couple to try it out. Within a day I'm seeing questions being emailed to me that are not anything I'm interested in. How can I unsubscribe so that I can get rid of the useless noise in my Inbox? BTW, I was a very frequent contributor to a few service level Forums before, subscribing to their service level RSS feeds from my Slack user, but now with these uselessly broad topics spamming my Inbox with irrelevant noise, all those service have now lost me as contributor. It's such a shame.

What happened to the service level "topics" of the old forums? The vastly reduced set of topics in these new set of topics are totally useless. They are just big amorphous slush buckets that my benefit a newbie but are way too broad for an experienced user to get any use from and get the our specific contributions lost in din of generic noise. Way to go AWS this is a huge step backwards from the developer forums. I hope re:Post changes or fails fast! P.S. even worse the automatically selected "tag" set is not even close to what I'm saying and to heap insult onto that you have to select a tag to post and the tags are a fixed predetermined list of topics AWS wants to bin posts into. IOW, they are not tags. They don't even have a tag for "forum" to tag posts about the old forums. I guess they are saying "my way or the highway"!

How can we ask for new features in re:Post?

I really need to check some of my old posts on forum.

I read the guidelines but didn't mention the languages I could post. Is it okay to ask in our official language? (NOT English) I understand that the number of people who can answer is limited.

re:Post currently seem to be only offering notifications via email. I would appreciate alternate notification mechanisms, namely Desktop Notifications in my web browser and a "silent" (Facebook-style) notification queue in re:Post itself. This would make participation more effective and faster, without forcing users to use the mailbox as a notification queue.

According to the [FAQ](https://repost.aws/faq), Tags are labels assigned by requesters to questions, whereas Topics are curated knowledge domains. Tags are straightforward (you should follow them if you are a domain expert and want to answer new questions), but it's unclear how Topics should be used. I would appreciate more clarity in the FAQs on when a topic is added to a specific question, to be more clear on what following them means. Two main questions: 1. What is the standard for adding a question to a Topic? 2. Does it have to have a valid answer? 3. If so, are answers to questions added to a Topic "verified" and 100% correct (to the time of posting of course)? 4. Will there also be active un-tagging of questions which aren't relevant anymore? Further to this, there seem to also be some overlapping between "Topics" and "Community Groups". They seem to be the same type of "tag", but applied to users (is it applied when they subscribe to a Topic?) - and following one implies following the other, which doesn't seem to be documented.

I am curious why Specialty certs are graded more than the Pro certs when setting up your profile? Any documentation to explain the grading process? Thanks

There doesn't appear to be a Skill listed for the Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP service, nor a tag for this service. Can someone please add both? I'm a subject-matter-expert on both NetApp and this service and would like to create a way to ask/answer questions related to this service.

I have a few certifications where I used different email IDs. I was able to add them all to Credly but am unable to add any of them, even where the email ID used for the cert is same as the one on re:Post profile (changed but verified). Is there a way or plan to accommodate folks that use multiple email IDs?

Who created this re:Post software? Was it created in-house at Amazon or did a third-party create it?

Any chance we could get more granularity in the topics within re:Post? For example: I'm active in the Lightsail group on the old forums ... while there is a lightsail tag, I think it would be useful to have a full topic for Lightsail. Lightsail kind of falls in the compute topic, but it's pretty specialized. Thanks.

Our AWS Organization is set up so that users always log in via SSO, rather than individual IAM accounts. However, this doesn't seem to work too well with re:Post. In order to access re:Post, I have to sign in with SSO, open the management console for a specific IAM role that is now associated with my re:Post profile and then go to https://repost.aws to continue. Is there a way that I can sign in directly from https://repost.aws with my SSO user?

Often people don't have personal AWS accounts and do not want their re:Post profile to be a hostage of their current employment! Please, allow alternative authentication! And maybe linking AWS accounts (more than one).

Is there a way to find out your own profile URL so that it can be shared with others?
