Alternate ways to make a lambda func a cron job?

0

I wrote a lambda function a few months ago that runs once per week. I now need to change it to run daily, but I can't figure out where I set the cron. I have nothing saved in CloudWatch, EventBridge and Step Functions, and I have no triggers added to the function. I remember filling in the cron fields in an AWS config window, not as a function I wrote by hand. Does anyone know where else I may have set this?

  • Are you sure your lambda is still being invoked weekly? Looks to me that your trigger was somehow removed, that's why the function has no trigger now.

The only services I know can do that are either a Rule in the default Event bus on EventBridge, or the newer EventBridge Scheduler.
