Issue migrating SageMaker Studio Classic to new Studio

0

I'm attempting to migration my SageMaker Studio Classic to the new SageMaker Studio experience. Here's the AWS CLI the documentation says to run. My domain is demo and region is us-east-1. I don't understand what I need to do to fix the error below. How can the word demo not match the regex? Thanks.

aws sagemaker update-domain \
--domain-id demo \
--region us-east-1 \
--default-user-settings '
{
    "StudioWebPortal": "ENABLED",
    "DefaultLandingUri": "studio::"
}
'

An error occurred (ValidationException) when calling the UpdateDomain operation: 1 validation error detected: Value demo at 'domainId' failed to satisfy constraint: Member must satisfy regular expression pattern: ^d-(-*[a-z0-9]){1,61}

Hi Jason, you need to provide the domain ID (d-xxxxxxx format) instead of the domain name (demo). If you have access to the console, you should be able to see the domain ID in the domains list page, right next to the name.
