404 error on requests to peerjs server on port 443 in an ec2 instance

0

I made a simple WebRTC web app using socket.io and peerjs, it works fine when I tested it locally using port 3001. After i hosted it on an ec2 instance, connecting it with a domain accessed through https, with only changing the peerjs port from 3001 to 443, the website and camera open but the connection to the peerjs server returns 404

A 404 error indicates that the web server is running correctly but the request was for a resource that can't be found. Check your web server logs to see what is being requested; and make sure that the web server knows where the requested object is on the filesystem.
