Domain not passing Health Check (Unhealthy)

0

Hi, I have a Domain purchased on AWS (it's a .com). I can't ping it. No connection. I tried Health Checks. At first, it will show "healthy" but after a few minutes shut down and say "Unhealthy." I'm using the Hosted Zone AWS created. I use my Domain for my Windows Server 2019 Desktop. The DNS service has to be started or restarted every few minutes. Or I won't have Internet. I never had this problem when using a Dummy (.local) Domain. So I'm guessing that's the problem. So how do I get my Domain Healthy? I need to ping it and connect to it on Server 2019. Please reply. Thanks

I read I have to add another record to my Domain. I'm using the SOA and NS Auto Hosted Zone AWS made for me. I added a CNAME "**.mydomain.com." (with a trailing ".") The ** for Subdomains. TTL = 300. Should I increase the TTL? I don't want to pay for it. I read Alias is free. Then added blank PTR (.MyDomain.com.) With another trailing "." TTL = 300. I still have to start my DNS service every few minutes. What should I add to my SOA and NS? I read about adding an EC2 Instance. I have one of those. I will try that. Does the Instance have to be running all the time? For DNS? I can't afford to pay extra. So what FREE record should I add to my SOA and NS? Please reply. Thanks
