Can i give custom input_artifact for codedeploy stage in codepipeline rather than using the stage output of codebuild

I have a requirement to change the input artifact for codedeploy stage in codepipeline rather than using build_output as input_artifact to codedeploy

    What would be the source for this "other" artifact? it has to exist somewhere (from a source or previous stage)
