Pre token generation is not called for access token

Question

Hello,

I set a lambda function for Pre token generation on lambda trigger.
The behavior is ok when selecting "Basic features" for ID tokens.
But, when moving to "Basic features + access token customization - Recommended" , nothing is working.
No call for ID tokens and access token

Hello,

The Feature request to add custom details to an access token Pre token generation by lambda has been launched recently in December 2023. Please refer to documentation[1].

Document[2] mentions that In Cognito user pool console with advanced security features active, you can generate the version 2 or V2_0 trigger event with access token customization.

However, in order to do thorough investigating on your use case we require details that are non-public information. Please open a support case with AWS using the following link - https://support.console.aws.amazon.com/support/home#/case/create.
