AmazonMQ - RabbitMQ engine - event source

0

Hello,

Is there anyway of finding out if and when AWS plan to support using AmazonMQ (with RabbitMQ engine) as an event source for triggering Lambda functions? I know they only recently started supporting using MQ as an event source but at the moment only with the ActiveMQ engine.

Any help or points in the right direction would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi CBH - confirming there is no firm date yet for Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ as an event source with Lambda. It is our intention to support it in the future - but again no firm committed date yet. I would check back by mid 2021 to determine whether has changed.

Hi,

I would like to know if there is some visibility about this Feature (Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ as an event source with Lambda) ?
I just set up a MQ with RabbitMQ broker and Lambda but when i try to set a trigger i get this error :
"An error occurred when creating the trigger: Unsupported engine type: RabbitMQ (Service: AWSLambda; Status Code: 400; Error Code: InvalidParameterValueException"

Can be great to have roadmap on this to know if i can wait or change my project architecture.

Thanks,
Regards.
