CodePipeline "Change detection options" checkbox not saving selected value

When adding new CodePipelines yesterday with "GitHub (Version 2)" the new pipelines are not allowing me to disable the "Start the pipeline on source code change" option. I can uncheck the box and save the changes, but the changes are not applied. When looking at things after saving the changes, it still shows "DetectChanges" as "true" when I view the configuration info, and the box is still checked when I return to edit the stage again, and it does still automatically start the pipeline on any changes at GitHub.

Am I missing something that I need to do to disable this? It seems like the web interface is just not saving my selection?
