AL2023 PHP 8.1 EOL

Current AWS documentation says PHP 8.1 on AL2023 will have security support until Nov 2024: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/linux/al2023/release-notes/support-info-by-support-statement.html#support-info-by-support-statement-eol_php8.1

However, PHP has extended security support for 8.1 another year until Dec 2025: https://www.php.net/supported-versions https://wiki.php.net/rfc/release_cycle_update

Will AWS be updating PHP 8.1 EOL on both AL2023 and on Elastic Beanstalk (not yet announced) to reflect this change?

I would recommend opening a support case for this type of inquiry. Members of the community cannot accurately speculate or predict what will be supported and until when.

I was told by AWS that their support engineers are here as well and I don't have premium support, which is why I posted here.
