SSH via Hotspot Wifi - Verizon/TMobile

1

I have an EC2 instance for a Django Project. I bounce between a TMobile HotSpot and a Verizon HotSpot. I have been able to successfully SSH into my instance with both up until this morning. Now, I can only get into the instance with the Verizon Hotspot. The TMobile Hotspot times out. I can not figure out what it is happening. I have checked my security groups and even added individual ip's to see if that would help. Still absolutely no luck.

Does anyone have an ideas as to why this isn't working or how to fix it?

Thanks.

One place to look is your VPC flow logs and confirm existence of a connection with your T-Mobile HotSpot IP. If you do not see it, I suspect your service provider may be filtering the network traffic before it can make it into the AWS network. For information regarding the VPC Flow Logs, please see here.

I'm working on a T-Mobile hotspot and I don't seem to be able to get to AWS instances unless I'm on my VPN from work. I saw some people were having general ssh problems from it perhaps. So I'm thinking it's a T-Mobile problem. But I haven't figured it out yet. It's happening for multiple aws accounts, so I don't think it's a VPC issue in my case. Others were having problems with using Amazon's VPN too. https://community.t-mobile.com/syncup-and-iot-10/can-t-connect-to-aws-vpn-starting-this-year-56152?postid=219882#post219882
