No longer possible to restore snapshot to serverless?

Hello,
during our QA process we routinely restore a snapshot from production system to a serverless Aurora MySQL cluster and from there reload the staging environment. Today I noticed that I can no longer restore a snapshot to a serverless instance but instead had to select provisioned.
Is this a know issue due to deprecation of old versions? Snapshot created from a RDS running 5.7.24 of MySQL.

I heard that the restoration can be done with AWS CLI, but do I get any errors when I run it with the command?

    --db-cluster-identifier mynewdbcluster \

The following document shows that 5.7.24 is already an unsupported version, so it is important to check if it is possible to restore server-less if the version is upgraded.
