Near Real-Time Index Updates with DocumentDB and OpenSearch

0

We are evaluating DocumentDB change streams to trigger updates to the OpenSearch index.

The AWS provided architecture is one-minute updates using EventBridge and Lambda. We need faster updates to the index (nearer real time). Is there a way to avoid the one-minute delay with EventBridge?

You could potentially use DMS with Opensearch as target - what is the volume per sec we are expecting?
