I am having an issue verifying my domain with workmail. I clicked the "Update All in Route 53" button and it has been pending verification for more than 72 hours.
I did the following steps to setup my domain with AWS.
- I registered a domain with Route 53, then setup a website with Lightsail for that domain
- Lightsail has it's own Domain and DNS records. The website works fine and the domain resolves to my website
- I setup workmail
- None of the verification worked on workmail. The error message on workmail said the domain was not authoritative
- I found a post that said to make sure the name servers all match. They didn't. I copied the Lightsail nameserver list to the Route 53 NS record
- Verification on the workmail domain is still pending
I'm thinking that I should have copied the route 53 name servers to the lightsail nameserver list instead?
