Lightsail instance needs to be constantly rebooted

Question

I have a WordPress installation on a Lightsail Bitnami instance. When I edit or create from WP Admin, I lose connection with my site altogether and the only way to re-establish connection is to reboot the instance on the AWS Lightsail console. When not editing, the same happens in approximately 24 hours. At times, I may need to reboot multiple times or even Stop / Start the instance to get it back. Any help will be appreciated.

What size instance are you running?

The smaller instance sizes are not sufficient to run a web and database server.

I am using: 512 MB RAM, 1 vCPU, 20 GB SSD
