CodeDeploy old versions on EC2 instances

0

Hello, I'm using CodeDeploy and S3 to deploy my application to several EC2 instances. I'm saving a deployment with a date suffix in it's directoryname and later simlinking it in my web root. Whenever I run a new deploy the old folder gets cleanup, since it's not in my AfterInstall logic I presume AWS keeps track of deployments and cleans them up.

Is this correct and can I turn this off and do my own cleanups?

With kind regards, Andries
