Cross Region ActiveMQ failover setup query.

Question

We are using AWS ActiveMQ service. We can see same region failover setup but is there a cross region failover for ActiveMQ service . If yes How to set it up?

This is Tom from AWS Support.

ActiveMQ supports Network of Brokers configuration which allows cross-region deployment of ActiveMQ brokers. This documentation here shows a sample graph of how network of brokers topology can be configured for ActiveMQ [1]. To enable failover, I recommend including "transportConnectors" inside XML configuration file to allow server side dynamic failover. [2]

Furthermore, here is an AWS blog showing a sample/reference solution for Cross Region ActiveMQ deployment [3].
