CloudFormation stack stuck in UPDATE_COMPLETE_CLEANUP_IN_PROGRESS

Hello, I'm using Serverless framework, and during a deploy, a lambda functions should be deleted. Everything went well, except the deletion of the lambda, and now no matter what I do, CloudFormation doesn't change its state from UPDATE_COMPLETE_CLEANUP_IN_PROGRESS. I'm not using nested stacks. Any idea how to fix it? This is pretty bad, very poor experience.
