I do understand that Lambda@Edge can't be deleted unless they are de-attached from all other services including Cloudfront and when all replicas are deleted automatically.
My problem is in my cleanup process I am disabling and deleting the cloudront distribution, removing S3 buckets, removing subdomains, removing logs, and when I check the Lambda@Edge replicas they are all gone, yet some of the functions got versions that can't be deleted so they stop the function from being deleted.
For instance, any function that got version 5 and 7 will never be deleted, but all other versions can be normally deleted.
Those versions seems somehow shared in some functions but not all, if any function got those versions it will never get deleted and will be stuck.
What shall I do? It is been like that for around 5 days so far.
An error occurred when deleting this version: Lambda was unable to delete arn:aws:lambda:us-east-1:041532632972:function:app-fix-a11y-issues:5 because it is a replicated function. Please see our documentation for Deleting Lambda@Edge Functions and Replicas.
Thanks for your reply, I am sure there is something wrong and I wanted to submit a ticket but the problem is my company's AWS account doesn't have support plan so I am not able to raise one :/
