Gradient colors for points on map

I am making a Points on Map visual, and I have a scalar value associated with each point. I want the map to look like a heatmap, where the color of each point is defined by a gradient. Is there a way to do this? When I put the numerical field in the "Color" well, The order of the colors does not make any sense Is there a way to make the colors reflect a gradient, similar to this visual?
