How can we use nfs v3 to mount AWS EFS to on premise vMware server

Question

I want to mount with NFS v3 and not v4, how can we bypass V4 and use NFS v3?
Als, If I mount with NFS v4, I get this error - "We could see the I/O error towards NFSv4 reading the acl." Please suggest.

Can you please share the mount options you are using and whats the client OS & kernel version ?

Amazon EFS only supports [NFSv4 and NFSv4.1](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/efs/latest/ug/limits.html#nfs4-unsupported-features).

If you need fully managed file storage with NFSv3 support, you can try [FSx for OpenZFS](https://aws.amazon.com/fsx/openzfs/) or [FSx for ONTAP](https://aws.amazon.com/fsx/netapp-ontap/)
