Workdocs api pricing

Question

Hello everyone, I would like to know how much Amazon workdocs will cost me per month.

To summarize my use case, I want to automate the sending of documents in workdocs and therefore make the creation of document. I know that the api costs 29 USD for 10 000 request write

But it also says that there is no charge for API calls made by native WorkDocs applications.

In my case, will I pay? If so, isn't there another way to reduce my costs?

The billing applies if you use the WorkDocs APIs from your custom applications (built using the WorkDocs SDK) or make HTTP requests directly to the WorkDocs REST API endpoints.

If you are uploading your documents to WorkDocs using WorkDocs native clients (e.g. using [WorkDocs Drive](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workdocs/latest/userguide/drive_install.html) or [WorkDocs Web Client](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workdocs/latest/userguide/web_client_help.html)), then there is no extra charge as the uploading is handed by the native clients and the API usage by the native clients is included in your monthly subscription.

Hi there,

If you install and use WorkDocs Drive to upload your folders and files to WorkDocs, there is no additional charges. You can use a script or a custom application that runs locally on your machine to automatically move/copy files from your local hard drive to WorkDocs Drive. Hope this is clear to you.
