Hello, I don't think you will find a dire answer to this question. AWS announces new technologies when they are ready and tested, but does not provide dates for when this will happen. It probably will soon
Thanks Joel
Postgresql 14.X has some new features related to how changes are being processes and replicated. I do see service team is working towards certifying PG14.x as source/target. Currently PG14.x is not officially supported. But you should be able to use it for full load as source endpoint and as target endpoint (in any config). For cdc if you run into issues do open a support case so that bugs can be timely reported and resolved.
I can't test the endpoint, I get this as a response:
Test Endpoint failed: Application-Status: 1020912, Application-Message: Failure in resolving database version. The database version is not supported., Application-Detailed-Message: Supported major version numbers range is [9..13]. Source database version number is not supported: 140002 PostgreSQL 14.2, compiled by Visual C++ build 1914, 64-bit
This is an issue even for full builds because when you go to run a replication task you get this as an error:
Test connection for replication instance name-of-your-instance and endpoint name-of-your-endpoint should be successful for starting the replication task.
So, because I can't successfully test my connection (in the logs of the pgsql database, you can see it connecting just fine), I can't create a full rebuild replication task.
