Eventbridge API Destination Special Characters not working as Http Path Parameters?

Posting to this webhook https://www.privyr.com/api/v1/incoming-leads/0vZfjMQw/xxx#generic-webhook

The console does not allow you to create an API Destination Endpoint with a # character

I have setup my endpoint as https://www.privyr.com/api/v1/incoming-leads/0vZfjMQw/xxx*

With my Path Parameters setup as so

      "HttpParameters": {
        "PathParameterValues": ["#generic-webhook"]
      }

Upon triggering of the event the path parameter is not being replaced.
