Is it possible to use an iOS device as a security key?

I tried to setup a security key using my iPad & iPhone.
I selected security key and then scanned the QR code displayed, it seemed to work on the iOS side, but AWS said “error registering security key”.
Unfortunately, that’s all the information I have at the moment.
Any suggestions on how to pursue?

Hi David,
Are you referring to setting up Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for Identity and Access Management (IAM)?
Please refer to https://aws.amazon.com/iam/features/mfa/ for the supported methods.
There are a list of supported iOS authenticator apps that are currently supported.
