Is there any way to delete traces in X-Ray to save money?

I would like to reduce the amount of data in X-Ray and pay less money due to less storage being used. But it looks like there's no delete API, and the pricing is based only on recorded traces, not on storage. Are there options for saving money in X-Ray?

Currently xray pricing is by traces sent to xray. Delete a trace in xray storage or not does not impact pricing, and xray does not support delete tracing.
Alternatively, please use sampling rule to filter the traces no needed should meet your requirement.
