Facebook Conversions API Issues

Question

Hi there I wanted to use an access token to my Facebook Conversions API for some third party ad software I am using. It is supposed to track things better than the normal pixel. I clicked on the link to set up the conversions API through AWS, but not sure I actually needed to do this. Either way, I wouldn;t mind but it seems to be eating up data, like 1GB overnight and its estimating I will be charged $5 a day at least. For what I'm wondering.. Can anyone help? Seems like there is no support here and Facebook don't have any either...
