SES Monitoring using SNS: What filtering can be done by subscriber

When creating a subscription to a SNS topic, you are able to attach a FilterPolicy. These seems like it could be really useful for setting up a subscriber that only listened to events for certain emails - i.e. emails that were sent using specific MessageTags.

I've searched and not found any examples of SNS subscriber filtering of SES events. The event examples in the SES documentation do not document any event attributes that are set.

Do SES events published to SNS contain filterable attributes? Are we able to filter on MessageTags?
