Billing-related query

I had created a free tier account few years back for practice. To the best of my knowledge, I deleted/stopped everything in the account but after 1 year started receiving bills. Last month I deleted all the existing account from my root account, still I have received the bill for EC2 service. Ideally deleting the account should have stopped/terminated all the services. If there is still an account that looks active, kindly let me know.

By closing the account, the billing should have stopped, however, if you closed the account in the middle of the month, you will still be charged for the days of the month when the account isn't closed.

  • Thank you. I had closed the account in the middle of September. Let me wait to see if I get billed for October too.
