filters place holders not working in aws console

I am using aws personalize and created filters with placeholder , but when I test a recommender and apply the filter there is no place to provide the values of the placeholders , I tried with both include and exclude expressions, with include it gives an error saying you must provide all dynamic filter fields values but my problem is where can I add them , there is nothing that appears when I choose the filter ?
