VPC Endpoint & Access from On-prem

When accessing a public service via VPC Endpoint of "Interface" type, such as EKS from on-premises, do you need to use proxies or are proxies only needed for "Gateway" type?

They are only needed for the "Gateway" type (S3 and DynamoDB), but you will need your on-prem DNS to resolve the interface endpoint IP address accordingly.
