allow client devices to connect to Greengrass core device without internet

Hello,  
  
I have worked with _Greengrass version 1 (GGv1)_ and currently exploring the _Greengrass version 2 (GGv2)_ .  
  
In GGv1, the _connected devices_ (also called _Greengrass devices_) were able to connect to _Greengrass core_ even when _Greengrass core_ is not connected to internet.  
  
But in GGv2, the _Client devices_ were unable to connect to _Greengrass core_ when internet is not available to _Greengrass core_ .  
This seems in contradict with the principle of **act locally** and **local first** .  
  
Is it possible to change this behavior and allow _Client devices_ to be able to connect to _Greengrass core_ when internet is not available to _Greengrass core_ in GGv2?

Thanks for using Greengrass and the client devices integration. We are aware of this gap and requirement and have this in our backlog. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a timeline on when this will be available.
