Hello, As per the AWS Documentation: After you increase the size of an EBS volume, you must use file system–specific commands to extend the file system to the new, larger size. You can do this as soon as the volume enters the optimizing state. [1]You may need to resize your partition in order to accommodate for the additional storage volume added or unmount your svda 1 partition before growing, as Linux doesn't allow most modifications to partitions while they are mounted or in use in some way.
