Problems sending emails from webmail (not a problem from SES console)

0

I am having problems sending emails... We are receiving emails, but when we send the emails we get the following error on an email "You are currently not allowed to send this e-mail. Please try again later."

I am using AWS webmail, and something is not letting my outbounds be received/send...

I already use the "test email sending on SES console" and the emails could be send from there...

Any suggestions on what can be going on here??

Hi,

Can you re-add your domain in Amazon WorkMail organization? You can click 'Add domain' and enter the same domain name without deleting it or editing. This step will refresh the workmail setup. Please check if you can send emails after adding the domain. When you add a new domain, an Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) sending authorization policy is automatically added to the domain identity policy with the workmail organization name (ex: m-1234dfsdss*). The policy will provide WorkMail service account to send emails from your SES service. If the account was removed or policy was altered, we will receive this error. Please let us know if you can send email after re-adding domain.

  • Thank you for your quick response... However I just add the domain and the outbound emails are still not sending... The same error message is returning when I send the email... And that is:

""You are currently not allowed to send this e-mail. Please try again later.

2022-01-02 04:08:18 : An error occurred while trying to deliver the mail to the following recipients:""

Do you think this can be related to the " AWS Access Key"???

  • Thank you for your quick response... My answer is: I Have not, and I do not know how to do this specifically... I already read the article you post, and I didn't find where does it say...

I already created a second access key, and copy the credentials, however I do not know where to set this new key on WorkMail...

Can you give me more information with regards this issue??

When you are testing via the SES Console - are you sending and receiving from the same addresses as what you testing when you encounter the outbound issues?

Quick clarification - when you say Webmail, are you referring to AWS SES? Or are you referring to AWS Workmail?

If using SES only (and not Workmail)

If using WorkMail:

  • Hi, thanks for your quick response... When I say Webmail I mean Workmail, not SES (And the accounts that are configure in outlook, they have the same problem, not being able to send emails).

Account is well validated and out of sandbox, a couple of days ago we could send emails.

My account status for sending emails was suspended for a couple of days, because apparently I had to change the AWS Access key (with I already deactivate the old one and activate a new one), Now my account sending status is enable, green... In this process, I do not know what happen, preventing me to send emails.

Hi,

Thank you for the details. Since you have mentioned as your send email was suspended for few days. Can you please check with AWS account team for any restrictions are still in place?
