Cannot access AWS Lambda console with the error saying: "You do not have sufficient permission. Access denied."

I tried to use the mobile app, got locked out of my account pending password reset. After the password reset, whenever I try to access my AWS lamba, I get the error "Cannot access AWS Lambda console with the error".

Looking at other answers, it looks like AWS support can unblock this issue. Is there any way to unblock this issue ourselves?
