How do I change my cPanel contact email address in Lightsail?

Resolution

Update your cPanel contact email address in WebHost Manager (WHM)

1. Log in to WHM at https://example-ip:2087.
   Note: Replace example-ip with your server's IP address.
2. Under Account Information, select List Accounts.
3. In the accounts list, find the cPanel account that's associated with the contact email address that you want to update.
4. To view the account details, choose the plus sign [+].
5. Under Change Contact Email, enter the new email address ID. To save, choose Change.

Update your cPanel contact email address in cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel at https://example-ip:2087.
   Note: Replace example-ip with your server's IP address.
2. Select Preferences, and then choose Contact Information.
3. Find the cPanel account that's associated with the contact email address that you want to update.
4. Enter the new contact email address in the Enter an email address to receive account notifications and password reset confirmations field.
5. Choose Save.
