AWS Root MFA: Alternate Method: Email verification link expired

Customer tried "Troubleshooting MFA" and entered the email address as the first step. When they click on the link that they receive, they get that "Email is expired" (Even before 15 mins)

First, have the customer try resolving this concern using the self-service options. See To sign in using alternative factors of authentication as an AWS account root user at Recovering a root user MFA device. If they still need help, see Lost or unusable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) device.
