Database Emptied Over Night

0

Last night, I was working on my website and everything was fine. Got up today and strangely half of my database tables are gone, and the other half are all empty.

I found that general_logs are not enabled by default in RDS, so I don't have anything there to look back at to see what happened. I have them enabled now.

Is there a user access log or some other log/way to try and figure out what happened?

Every RDS database engine generates logs that you can access for auditing and troubleshooting. The type of logs depends on your database engine.

You can access database logs using the AWS Management Console, the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI), or the Amazon RDS API. You can't view, watch, or download transaction logs.
