The AWS Management Console sign-in and the AWS Builder ID for the AWS re:Post Knowledge Center are different login options within the AWS ecosystem.

The main difference is that the AWS Management Console sign-in is also used for managing AWS services and resources, while the AWS Builder ID represents you as an individual. When logged in to AWS re:Post Knowledge Center with the AWS Management Console sign-in, you can have seamless transition between the Knowledge Center and the AWS Management Console, where you can access AWS resources without having to sign in again.

The AWS Builder ID is separate from any AWS account or sign in credential. You can use the same email for your AWS Builder ID and the AWS Management Console root email.
