Can Redshift ML generated function return the probability value for binary classification?

We tried the tutorial at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/redshift/latest/dg/tutorial_customer_churn.html for Redshift ML, and were able to get the results in the tutorial. However, we'd like get the prediction with the probability, or just the probability of "TRUE". For instance, the sample SQL statement

SELECT phone, ml_fn_customer_churn_auto( state, account_length, area_code, total_charge/account_length,  cust_serv_calls/account_length ) AS active FROM customer_activity WHERE record_date > '2020-01-01';

returns

phoneactive
329-9001False
335-4719True
330-8173False
351-7269True

What we'd like to have is

phoneactiveprobability of True
329-9001False0.235
335-4719True0.621
330-8173False0.442
351-7269True0.893

or the above table without the "active" column.

Can this be done with "CREATE MODEL" statement? Any other suggestion to get it?

Thank you for posting the question and the detailed explanation on what you are expecting. This is currently not supported in Redshift ML with binary classification. I have raised a feature request with the service team on your behalf.
