DNS propagation (48 hours - really?)

0

I recently changed my nameservers on my domain in Godaddy to the nameservers in my Route 53 hosted zone. I'm at a stand still until the domain propagates. I checked the propagation on https://dnsmap.io/#NS/swartzfinance.com and it appears that almost all the authoritative DNS servers have picked it up, and all the ones in the USA where I'm at. So why is my site still not coming up? swartzfinance.com

Usually, it is a matter of a couple of hours that DNS changes take effect. I feel like telling people to wait 48 hours in this day and age is really just CYA, which is what Google support told me (I'm trying to verify my domain for Workspace). Amazon touts a 60-second world-wide propagation. So is Godaddy just really slow and archaic? I can't imagine in this age of technology that we have to be put on hold for 2 whole days for something like this.

I've considered that maybe it's something on my end, but I'm scared to try anything since I might have to wait another 2 days.

I guess it really does still take 48 hours in some cases. It finally went though.

im approaching 48 hours too, this isn't going to work for me when we go into production and need things to go as fast as normal.
