Refund Amazon Mturk

If you have unused money in your Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) account, you generally have two options for accessing those funds:

1.Transfer to a Bank Account (U.S. Workers Only):

If you are a U.S. worker on MTurk, you can transfer the funds from your MTurk account to your linked Amazon Payments account, and then to your bank account.

To do this:

Log in to your MTurk Worker account.

Go to the "Earnings" or "Dashboard" section.

Select the option to transfer your earnings to your Amazon Payments account.

From Amazon Payments, you can then transfer the funds to your linked bank account.

2.Convert to an Amazon Gift Card (All Workers):

If you are not in the U.S. or if you prefer, you can convert your MTurk earnings into an Amazon gift card.

To do this:

Log in to your MTurk Worker account.

Go to the "Earnings" or "Dashboard" section.

Choose the option to redeem your earnings as an Amazon gift card.

The gift card balance can be used for purchases on Amazon.

If you are a requester (someone who posts HITs) rather than a worker, the funds you deposit to pay for tasks are generally not refundable according to MTurk's terms of service. However, you might consider using those funds to post more HITs or contact MTurk support to inquire about any possible options.
