Elastic Bean Stalk launching environment stuck at Pending

I am trying to launch a environment for running my java spring application. I have created required instance profile and attached it and launched the environment. It has been stuck about an hour at Pending. I couldn't even delete the application nor the environment. How can I at least stop that and delete the environment to get me started again ? I'm new to aws. Can someone answer this.
