AWS MANAGED MICROSOFT AD

Question

Can a customer use the Microsoft AD on the cloud as the only AD for his company that employees authenticates to.  What does it take to join the PCs and Users to the domain. Will it be over the internet. 
How much will the customer be paying for a team of about 20 personnel..

AWS Managed AD can be used to join any company owned Windows or Linux machines. You will need to have a private connection to VPC (VPN or Direct Connect). The list pricing for the AWS Managed AD ranges from $89/month for Standard Edition to $292/month for Enterprise in US regions and does not depend on the number of computers that are joined t this directory or the number of user accounts that are established.
