I created a case 170961945901438 almost 36 hours ago. The case is not yet assigned to anyone, it's a big blocker for us. Need to address the case immediately!

Did you create the case from Service Quota portal or Support Center? If the request is urgent, you can submit a service limit increase case from Support Center, set desired severity and choose Chat or Phone option. Here is a step-by-step instruction.
