How to sort in dynamodb withoit the help range key and global secondary index

Question

How to perform sorting in dynamodb without the help of sort and Global secondary index.
For example we can sort in sql using any column.but as of now i am not able to perform sorting in dynamodb without the help of range key and Global secondary index.

Is there any other solution to perform sorting in dynamo db

Sort keys are how you get DynamoDB to return the results in sorted order. Query flexibility is one of the trade-offs to get extreme speed and size. You can always sort at the application layer but then you may be doing table scans to get the whole data set.
