Chime SDK - no sound starting today

First time poster so please let me know if there is a better place for this question.

I am using Chime SDK and up until a couple days ago it was working fine. But today I found that there is no sound and I'm not seeing anything that changed on my end.

I am using amazon-chime-sdk-js: 2.30.0.

I have tested in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on Mac OS Ventura and Monterey as well as Safari on iPhone. None are producing sound for the participants.

Is anyone else experiencing this or aware of a service issue? Anyone using Chime SDK today and getting sound?

  • It's working today with no changes on my end. Was there a service issue yesterday?

  • I think I've narrowed it down. There is no sound when there is only one person publishing video/audio. So if there are two participants, but only one is publishing, the 2nd participant can see the video of the 1st, but there is no sound.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

The latest Version of amazon-chime-sdk-js is 3.10.0. Why not try it here?
