How can I find the data storage jurisdiction?

Hi all,

I have (probably) a very basic question, but I can't figure out in what jurisdiction our data is stored. Can anyone help me with this?

This is what I see when I login and click on the region: Enter image description here The odd thing is that we are in the Hong Kong region, however the Hong Kong region link is not clickable.

Thank you! I just updated my post to show you what I see when I select region. Does this then mean data storage in all these regions is enabled?

Sorry, I am not very well known with Amazon.

Probably the Hong Kong region is not enabled for your account. Please contact your Administrator or you can check below how to enable it

I am not clear with the ask data storage jurisdiction. You can store the data in many ways such as S3 bucket, EBS storage, EFS filesystem etc and they get created in a region. So you can refer this page for region specific data privacy https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/data-privacy/
