i686 package on amazon linux 2023

Question

Is there any way to install glibc.i686 or other i686 packages on amazon linux 2023?  I require a program that has that dependency.  Or should I just start over using Amazon Linux 2?

Sadly, [glibc.i686 was removed from Amazon Linux 2023](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/linux/al2023/release-notes/removed-i686-AL2023.2-AL2.html).
Moreover, [Amazon Linux 2023 doesn't support EPEL repositories](https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/ec2-enable-epel).
Therefore, seems that it is better to use Amazon Linux 2 in your case. (Although you may try to download each of the i686 dependencies directly from other repositories if you really want to use AL2023)
