cloudwan core network policy update stuck

A cloudwan core network policy has been updated to add a new edge, however, this new policy has been stuck in the state "Executing" for more than 12 hours.

From the console, neither this policy nor the core network can be deleted.

From the CLI, this policy cannot be deleted either:

aws networkmanager delete-core-network-policy-version --core-network-id core-network-0d87cc7ac5adc5a89 --policy-version-id 2

An error occurred (ValidationException) when calling the DeleteCoreNetworkPolicyVersion operation: Incorrect input.
